The photo was taken in the gardens of the Imperial Palace in Tokyo, Japan.

November forest
When I was young, I alwalys tried to kepp things or preserve things in may mind. In 1974 i had been very conscious about and concerned with the preservation of nature.
In some sense, at that time i first got a sense for nature preservation.
Pathway!
The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn,
shining ever brighter till the full light of day.
A pathway through the forest, lined by bluebells!
Nature Dog
Sparky can never get enough of running through the small paths in the forest, and eating the grass after a fresh rain shower. :)

Mystic forest
This forest is located atop the Crimean mountains in Ukraine (Southern Europe). They are pretty high (1200 metres above the sea level) so the fog you see in this photo is not really fog but a cloud ;)
For his laughter shattered in stillness
He hid his dreams in unknown forests,
for his laughter shatterede in stillness,
where there were no colours, no life
only grayness and hush'es.
For games were deadly
and songs unforgiving.
He stayed so silent that he never heard his own heartbeat -
There were no lush, green gardens of imagination,
no fairytales to belong to.
For his childhood was a mere whisper
A dead calm reflection of your pain.

I was walking on the path leads to the peak, full of frog besides my aronding in the altitude of almost 2000m, there were two HuaGan lying on the roadside, which is made of bamboo, and used as a transport tool for the tourist by labor.
Not to be able....
...to see the wood for the trees.
I have taken this photo in Crailo forest.
This forest is situated in the centre of the Netherlands in the municipal Huizen.
Huizen lies 25 kilometres south of Amsterdam and 25 kilometres north of Utrecht.
I am used to walk there with my dog.
Regrowth
Georgian Bay, Ontario
Last summer, a small portion of this forest was burned by a lightning strike. Already, things are coming back to life.
Sun goes down
A shot of the sun dropping behind an island across Zimovia straight. The view is from Nemo Point, a camping area in the Tongass National Forest in Wrangell, Alaska.

Trails in Inwood Hill Park
It's a photo of a trail in Inwood Hill Park, at the tip of Manhattan Island (New York City). The park has original growth forest from before European settlement and is maintained as a natural landscape at the northern end of Manhattan island.
I was walking on the trail on May 30; the tulip trees, which can grow fairly large, had finished blooming and were starting to shed their flower petals and pollen, which drifted drifted through the leaves and branches and fell on me and the path.
It was a nice day for a hike.
